Gîte Les Treilles, au cœur des Châteaux de la Loire (6 pers.)

The Treilles property is a traditional 15th century manor house, with chapel, press and farmhouse.
A bourgeois house was added to the complex in the 19th century. It is this house, independent of the rest of the property, that we offer as a gite.

It benefits from its own private entrance, its enclosed garden of 500 m² with an unheated 5 x 10 m swimming pool (reserved only for the gite and not overlooked).

A large garden of one hectare surrounds the property and is also accessible, but shared.

The whole is surrounded by fields in a hilly landscape and far from any neighborhood. Ideal for cutting yourself off from the world.

The 130 m² house is on one level, with a freestone wall and exposed beams.

It has a large entrance hall, 3 bedrooms with 2 90x200 beds that can be joined together, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom (a large shower and two basins) with separate toilets.

The cottage has its own independent access with private outdoor parking.

At guests' disposal: a collection of board games, a library made up of books on the region, novels, comics and children's books, a piano, a basketball hoop, a football goal, buoys for the swimming pool, garden furniture , barbecue and 4 bicycles to be reserved in advance.

All basic services are available 8 km away in the town of Chinon or Richelieu: large supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, cinema, etc.

I live on site, in the old mansion. I will therefore be available if needed, or for advice on activities or visits.
I also have two dogs and a cat, but these do not have access to the areas of the gîte (garden and house), the latter being completely independent from the rest of the property.

The cottage is in the heart of the Loire Valley:
- less than 15 minutes: the historic towns of Chinon (royal fortress, medieval town) and Richelieu (ideal city of the 17th century, desired by Cardinal Richelieu). Rivau castle, Sainte-Chapelle de Champigny-sur-Veude, La Devinière manor (birthplace of F. Rabelais), Coudray Montpensier castle, Loire à Vélo, canoeing on the Vienne.

- less than 30 minutes: Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, Château de Rigny-Ussé, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, the Collegiate Church of Candes Saint-Martin, Château de Montsoreau (Museum of Contemporary Art).

- less than 45 minutes: castle and gardens of Villandry, castle and town of Saumur, castle of Langeais, castle of Montreuil-Bellay.
- about an hour: city of Tours, Futuroscope & Poitiers, castle of Chenonceau, castle and city of Amboise, castle of Clos-Lucé, zoos of Beauval, Doué-la-Fontaine and La Flèche, city of Angers, castle of Loaches.

- about an hour and a half: Chambord castle, city and castle of Blois, city of Le Mans.
