Gîte "Les Bambous"

Located in the heart of the Cognac country, in a quiet, independent hamlet, not overlooked, fully enclosed with a private entrance.
The house is an old stone barn, transformed into a gîte with a spacious, comfortable and very bright interior that can accommodate 8 people.

This gite offers accommodation of 130 m², a small terrace, a larger shaded one under its courtyard, both equipped with garden furniture. You will be able to take your meals there (barbecue) while spending moments of conviviality there.
For the little ones a lawn area with a swing, for the big ones a bowling alley, as well as a ping-pong table are at your disposal.

Finally its sunny and private swimming pool (4.5 x 9 m) secured by an alarm, surrounded by a rubble wall and access by a gate of 1.50 m.
Its design is ideal for play (depth of the basin which lends itself to this)
Equipped with deck chairs for relaxation, calm and tranquility guaranteed.

On the ground floor :
You will find a large living space including:
- a well-equipped American kitchen of 12 m² (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, traditional oven, coffee maker, kettle, etc.)
- a dining room (27 m²) with wood stove, adjoining the living room of 25 m², the latter equipped with two sofas including a convertible, view of the swimming pool through the bay window
- a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet
- a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing and cleaning equipment as well as some household products
Baby equipment, 2 beds: one wooden and the other folding, a high chair, a bathtub, bed linen and blankets.

Upstairs :
- a bedroom (25 m²) with a 160x190 bed, its private bathroom, walk-in shower, and which has a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, ideal for relaxing
- a 12 m² bedroom with a 140x190 bed
- a 16 m² bedroom with a 160x190 bed and 2 80x190 bunk beds, toy box and games
- a bathroom with shower and double sink
- a separate toilet

We welcome you beds made, towels provided, only in high season.
End of stay cleaning to be done or possibility of a cleaning fee of 80 €.

Located 25 km from Cognac and Angoulême.
Between 45 minutes and 1h30: Brantôme, Aubeterre, Saintes, Bordeaux, Poitiers with its FUTUROSCOPE, Royan, La Rochelle, Île de Ré… sea, zoo, aquarium…
