Hiking trails FishingIn Lozère, in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, halfway between Sainte-Enimie and Ispagnac, at the gates of the Cévennes National Park and 1 hour from the Millau viaduct.
Typical house of the Gorges du Tarn, this gite has been restored while retaining the typical aspect of the region. You will have the privilege of entering it by a spiral staircase overlooked by an old dovecote.
This cottage is located in St Chély du Tarn (4 km from Sainte-Enimie), one of the most beautiful villages in the Gorges du Tarn with a bridge with multiple arches, a Romanesque church, a chapel and illuminations in the evening.
The beach and the river are about 200 m away on foot; a vast body of water awaits you there.
In the village there is a restaurant, a pizzeria and a creperie.
On site you will have the opportunity to practice fishing, canoeing, hiking or mountain biking.
From the gîte you can take a pretty little path on the left bank of the river on foot or by mountain bike and go to Sainte-Enimie (4 km), La Malène (9 km) or climb towards the wild expanses of the Causse Méjean.
In the surroundings you will have the possibility of practicing climbing, caving, tennis, horse riding, paragliding...

"Gite de Qualité et Emplacement magnifique"
Week end prolongé dans un gîte et un site magnifique. Vraiment top ! idéal pour les randos, visiter la région et profiter de ce petit coin de paradis qu'est Saint Chély ! Nous reviendrons !

"Exceptionnel"
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gite le pigeonnier. Situé dans un cadre magnifique, le village de Saint Chely du Tarn est très joli, idéalement placé pour les départs de randonnées et les différents visites de la région, et sa petite plage est accessible en quelques minutes à pieds.
Le gite est magnifique, rénové avec beaucoup de gout, parfaitement propre et très bien équipé. Encore un grand merci au propriétaire avec qui la communication a été très facile. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

"Quatre randonneuses"
Le Pigeonnier in its exceptional setting left us with a very good memory. It is a place full of charm, spacious, very clean and well equipped. And ideally located to set off on the many hiking trails. Absolutely recommended!

"Vacances entre amis"
We spent a very pleasant week with 8 adults in Saint-Chély. The cottage is very pleasant, spacious, well equipped. We appreciated the terrace and the ease of parking. The village is beautiful, the possibilities for hiking are appreciable even if swimming, canoeing, boating are also part of the possible activities.

"Un excellent we en Lozère"
We have just spent 3 days at the Pigeonnier, a treat! The cottage is perfectly adapted for 10 people, it has been tastefully restored, we immediately felt very good there.
Saint Chely is a very beautiful village, with the Tarn accessible, the children were able to swim!
And the surrounding area is worth exploring, a 30-minute drive away, on the Mejean causse, the landscapes are splendid.
We will be back!

"Superbe!"
nous y étions à 10 pour we du 11 novembre. très bon séjour. cadre superbe et fonctionnel. tout ce qu il faut en cuisine au niveau ustensiles! cheminée appréciée pour boire l'apéro devant!

Saint Chely est un village magnifique, les gorges du Tarn sont grandioses et le gîte est confortable et très bien restauré tant à l'intérieur qu'à l extérieur.
