Gîte Le Gargantua

Charming cottage in the land of Rabelais!
In a magnificent environment and living environment, "Le Gargantua" is located between Chinon and Saumur, very close to the Fontevraud Abbey.
This outbuilding of the Château des Coudreaux offers excellent comfort with elegant decoration.

On the ground floor you will find a large and welcoming dining room and a fitted kitchen, as well as a PMR bedroom with its shower room/WC.
Upstairs, a comfortable living room will delight you in a peaceful and serene atmosphere, as well as 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with separate toilets.

An evening of “Fouées” (local specialty) pizzas cooked in the bread oven (present in the gîte) is offered.
Pieter will be happy to help you start up the oven, provide the bread dough (3kg free), you just need to bring what you need to prepare it (rillettes, goat cheese, etc.)

On your way to the playground (ping-pong, badminton), you will appreciate the Alpacas and the aviary where crowned cranes and ornamental birds mingle harmoniously.
Workshops offered: kite flying, approaching Alpacas, etc.

Opening of shared HEATED POOL 7 x 4 m: 04/26 to 10/05.
The parking lot, children's swing and the pétanque ground are reserved for this gîte.

The Gargantua is ideally located for exploring the “Loire à vélo” and its surroundings.
You can forget about your car during your stay!
