The Séchoir des Acacias, in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, was built in the 1960s and experienced the heyday of tobacco until the early 2000s. As this crop gradually disappeared from the Périgord landscape, it served for several years storage warehouse.
In 2017, seeing this building deteriorate over time and in order to avoid its disappearance, the current owners will embark on a real adventure to rehabilitate and save this ancient agricultural monument.
After 4 years of intense work in collaboration with local artisans, the dryer is now made up of 4 apartments, each with covered terraces.
The apartment "La Noyeraie", located on the ground floor on the south side, is equipped with every comfort, it has 2 bedrooms of 11 m²: one with 1 double bed of 160x200 and the other with 2 beds of 90x200, 1 separate WC, 1 bathroom with shower and double sink, as well as a large kitchen-living room area of 40 m².
The owners live next door.

The swimming pool shared by the 3 other gîtes is open from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in July-August and from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in mid season. It is accessible from the beginning of June to the end of September.
