Gîte l'Oursonnière is an independent stone house, in the middle of the vineyards in the Lot valley, 2 km south of Prayssac, surrounded by three biodynamic wine estates. A former agricultural building, it has been renovated with taste and simplicity.
It can accommodate a family of 4 people + 1 baby. It benefits from a large garden, part of which around the house is fully enclosed.
Pets and smokers are not allowed.
This cottage is the ideal holiday home for people who appreciate the flea market style with old family furniture, and for independent families who bring their sheets (wool blankets available), towels, tea towels, cloth tablecloth if necessary, and make cleaning before their departure, in order to leave the place spotless and welcoming to the next beneficiaries.
It is aimed at people who want to rest in peace, in a green setting, without television or wifi, who like to read (books available: novel - art - history - magazine), but also to walk (many hiking trails hiking/riding/cycling), visit the region and taste the local products (wine cellars, markets and farms).
It comprises :
- a dining room/kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, traditional and microwave ovens, filter coffee maker n°4, kettle and toaster
- a bedroom with a 140 bed (2 people) with wardrobe / shelves
- a bedroom with two 90 cm beds (1 person) with toys and books
- a bathroom with washing machine
- Separate WC
- a terrace with table and armchairs for your meals outside + sun loungers for siesta…
Possibility of accommodating a baby: cot, high chair, deckchair, changing mat, small bath, potty and toilet seat, babycook (cooker and mixer) and BEABA bottle warmer, games, books. To be specified when booking.
Reservations are accepted at least 1 week before the arrival date and for a period of 3 nights to 3 weeks. From 3 p.m. to departure at 10 a.m.
Starting point for many places to visit such as the medieval and Renaissance towns of Cahors, Figeac, Sarlat, Puy-l'Evêque; the sanctuary of Rocamadour; Saint-Cirq-Lapopie; the fortified castle of Bonaguil; the Padirac chasm; the cave of Pech-Merle, etc.
In terms of activities, there are many ideas: hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking; tree climbing; canoe Kayak ; caving; paragliding; ballooning… There is something for everyone.
