Wooden cottage on stilts, on the edge of the "le Couzon" torrent, located in Aubusson-d'Auvergne (63120), 1 km from the landscaped lake, labeled Blue Flag.

Located on the edge of the 1st category river, L'Atelier du Meunier is placed in the middle of a green garden, on the edge of the forest, in a Natura 2000 zone, in the middle of the Livradois-Forez regional natural park.

L'Atelier is 8 km from the town of Courpière where all the shops are located and 20 minutes from Thiers.
Many local producers also sell their products directly.

Cycling, mountain biking and hikes of all types (numerous loops described in the topoguides), rental of electrically assisted bicycles in Aubusson-d'Auvergne (€15 / half-day), swimming, canoeing and pedal boats at the lake, fishing in the lake, the many rivers or ponds (possibility of being accompanied by a fishing guide), visit the many castles of the region: Aulteribe, La Barge, Vollore-Ville, Forteresse de Mauzun… Thiers, the capital of knives and its many artisan cutlers, and an hour's drive from Vulcania, the volcano of Lemptégy and Puy de Dôme.

Access is either by a staircase or by a small path that must be maintained.
