Gîte écologique à la Ferme de Balad'âne

The lodging of "La Platelle" is located at the Balad'âne farm, at 950m above sea level, in a quiet and green mountain valley.
You can go on foot and with donkeys for many hikes or nature excursions.
Donkeys are never far away and love to be petted.
Two footpaths lead to the gîte, 2 minutes from the road.

The cottage is independent and is located just above the teepee and yurt camp.
It has been restored exclusively with natural and ecological materials (local wood, lime plaster and lime / hemp, insulation with wood fiber, terracotta, etc.)
Energy autonomy is ensured by solar panels for electricity as well as for hot water.
The heating is done by a wood stove, the wood is cut on the farm.
The good mountain spring water and a beautiful panorama complete this beautiful setting.

On the ground floor you find the small living room with integrated kitchen as well as the spacious bathroom.
Two bedrooms welcome you upstairs, one with a double bed and the "children's" bedroom with a double bed and a raised play corner, which can be used as a sofa or another double bed.
A wooden terrace and a garden area with aromatic plants are also available.

The house's power supply is 12V, a USB socket can charge your laptops and 220V sockets allow you to connect devices up to 500W.
On "La Platelle" you are in the company of donkeys and surrounded by our garden with its vegetables for the table d'hôte and the fruit trees of our orchard.

In summer (July / August) we offer our friendly table d'hôte
as well as the sale of products from our farm such as apple juice, garden vegetables, homemade bread, jams, honey…

At the Balad'âne farm are also available our Yurts and Tipis equipped with a wooden floor, a double bed and camp beds for 4-6 people.
The rustic and comfortable room under the old chestnut, restored exclusively with ecological materials, is furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed for children.
The shared bathroom is close by and gives you a beautiful view of the vegetable patch and the mountain.

In respect of the environment we have installed dry toilets.
A little further you can camp in peace on the two terraces of our farm campsite.
