The cottage has a private terrace of 65 m² partially walled and paved with a flagstone staircase leading to the driveway. Adjacent to the terrace is a private courtyard, where the wood stock for the stove is also stored.
The cottage offers a view of the castle and the park and further on the stream and the wooded hills. The park and the terraces around the castle are entirely at the disposal of the guests.
The gîte is located in the courtyard of the castle and was once the home of the gardener / caretaker. The cottage has recently been completely renovated.
On the ground floor: there is a living room with a huge authentic fireplace and wood-burning stove, a separate fully equipped kitchen and a toilet.
On the first floor: a very spacious bedroom with a double bed with adjustable slatted base and a seat. Adjoining the bedroom, a very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, double sink and toilet.
From the bedroom a staircase leads to the second floor with a double bed and a sitting area.
The gîte has its own 65 m² terrace, partly walled and paved (gravel), and a stone staircase leading to the driveway. Adjacent to the terrace is a private courtyard (lawn), where the wood stock for the stove is also stored.
The cottage offers a view of the castle and the park and further on the stream and the wooded hills. The park and the terraces around the castle are entirely at the disposal of the guests of the lodging.
Pure luxury and privacy guaranteed.
Towels are changed daily.
Stay: minimum 2 nights
The hosts of the lodging have access to all the rooms and the lodging. Guests also have access to the park and terraces around the castle.
Total confidentiality is guaranteed. When clients need me, I am available.
The chateau and the gîte are surrounded by overwhelming nature. A varied landscape with green hills, wooded slopes, babbling streams and numerous lakes. Ideal for walking, biking, horseback riding or fishing.
The village of Vallière, where all basic necessities are available, is 2 km away.
The historic town of Aubusson, capital of the carpet industry, is 15 km away. The Creuse winds through Aubusson and there are many restaurants and terraces. But here are also a number of large supermarkets and many small shops with regional products.

"Très bon séjour en Creuse"
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à 4 personnes dans le gite de la maison du jardinier au château de Sourliavoux. Le gite est très bien équipé, très confortable et conserve tout son cachet ancien. L'accueil de la propriétaire des lieux a été très chaleureux. Nous avons pu profiter d'une très bonne situation pour visiter les alentours (Aubusson et Le Lac de Vassivière) et aussi des très belles ballades à faire à proximité du château.

"Très bon moment en famille"
Très bon accueil, une hôte très attentionnée dans un lieu magnifique. Nous avons adoré nos quelques jours dans ce lieu magique. Mélange de modernité et de rusticité. En pleine nature, très calme et avec tout le confort (cuisine bien équipée, belle déco, bonne literie, chauffage éléctrique + poêle, baignoire...). Je recommande vivement ! Encore merci à vous et belle continuation pour votre gîte

"Une très bonne adresse!"
Gîte très agréable, très bien aménagé, nous étions 3 (un couple et un enfant de 4 ans), il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner, se laver, dormir (grand lit et excellente literie). En plein hiver, la maison est très bien chauffée (poêle à bois + radiateurs électriques très performants), vous n'aurez pas froid. Le gîte est restauré avec goût, mêlant modernité et souvenirs du passé.
Le cadre est idéal pour se ressourcer, se promener. Hieke est très disponible, accueillante, pleine de petites attention sans être envahissante.

"Séjour Château Sourliavoux"
Nous avons été charmés par le site et le château. Un ressourcement parfait dans un appartement très bien aménagé et au calme le plus complet. L’environnement est très beau, l'accueil est très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons surement.

"Un séjour au calme dans un cadre verdoyant"
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le gîte "la maison du jardinier". Il est Joliment décoré et très accueillant et se situe à l'écart du château. Le WIFI est performant.
Notre hôte Hieke, très discrète et très sympathique, a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Nous avons pu pêcher dans l'étang privé situé à 1 km du gîte. Le parc magnifique du château est accessible sans restrictions.
Le cadre verdoyant incite aux randonnées (nombreux circuits aux alentours) et à la flânerie. Nous recommandons cette destination.

"Calme et tranquillité dans un cadre magnifique"
Maisonnette authentique et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût dans l'ancien logis du jardinier auprès du beau château des propriétaires. Petit jardin privatif et belle terrasse, le tout au calme dans la campagne creusoise. Calme et apaisant avec un accueil chaleureux. Août 2021. Laurence et Hervé de Nantes.

"Accueil chaleureux, confort et grande qualité des"
Une super adresse dans le parc de le rejoins d’Aubusson. Le gîte est situé dans le cadre bucolique du château de Souliavoux. Refait à neuf,il est très confortable. L’acceuil Est très chaleureux et notre hôtesse très attentionnée.
