Gîte de la Gauna, grand gîte dans les Corbières

All year round, we welcome you to the Gauna large farm (a 19th century farm and bourgeois house), a unique place, surrounded by nature in the hollow of a wide and cool valley. The gîte part includes a comfortable 250 m² dwelling, with vast spaces for sharing and conviviality. The house is self-sufficient in electricity, produced solely by solar energy. Its water comes from a spring. We provide tenants with a vast library, games, a piano, a ping-pong table, pétanque balls, a gas barbecue, unlimited outdoor spaces and above all 6 beautiful walks (from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes max) around the Gauna which will allow you to discover its Mediterranean undergrowth, and its scrublands, the ruins of the shepherds' or bouscatier's homes and, further on, the old mines.

The house is located in the town of Quintillan in Hautes-Corbières in the center of the Carcassonne, Narbonne and Perpignan triangle (we are one hour from these towns).

The house is 45 minutes from the "Cathare" castles of Termes, Peyrepertuse and Quéribus, 25 minutes from those of Aguilar and Villerouge Terménès, 10 minutes from the GR36, 40 minutes from Lagrasse Abbey, just an hour away from the sea, 0 minutes from magnificent and varied landscapes.
