Anne and Franck are happy to welcome you to their cottage with simple charm, but relaxing.
The house is located in the small village of Sommeilles - you should sleep well there;) - 200 inhabitants, in the heart of the Argonne.
Sommeilles is located in the Meuse: 25 km from Bar le Duc, 1 hour from Reims, 1 hour 45 minutes from Metz, 1 hour 30 minutes from Nancy, and 2 hours 30 minutes from Paris (or 1 hour by train / Meuse TGV is 30 minutes from our gîte).
This independent gîte will delight nature lovers whether on foot or by bike (Argonne forest, Saulx Valley, Der Lake ...) or lovers of historic sites (Verdun, Valmy ...)
You will find all the comforts for 2 to 10 people in this very spacious gîte (approximately 160 m²). It is a village house brought up to date this year.
In the cottage, you will find:
- a generously equipped separate kitchen: oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster ... The drawers are well filled and everything has been designed to make you feel at home
- a large living room, and a large corner sofa in the TV area
- 4 large bedrooms: 1 double (on the ground floor) with cot, and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The beds are equipped with slatted bases, new duvets and pillows and each room is equipped with storage furniture: wardrobe, wardrobe ...
- 2 shower rooms + separate WC (one with double sink; hair dryer provided)
- and for the survival of all (and especially our teenagers;): the cottage is equipped with fiber (Internet and TV)
- a terrace and an enclosed land (ideal for children) with 2 goats (Cinnamon and Pim's), and 3 hens
You can also visit the farm (production of milk and cereals) and sympathize with Franck's cows and calves;)
We will also advise you on the best addresses in the area and if you feel like it, we will be happy to make you taste the local productions (Maison du Cochon, strawberry wine from Revigny, Brasserie de Nettancourt ...)
Warning :
- the cottage is non-smoking
- animals, like hippos and dromedaries, are not necessarily welcomed: I want to discuss this first, but I try to be conciliatory
