Welcome to the Gîte de la Chapelle!
Once upon a time, in the heart of Valromey, in a small village, there was a family home steeped in history, at the foot of the Grand Colombier.
A capacity of up to 12 people, the Gîte de la Chapelle is equipped with a kitchen open to a large living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace facing a rural setting.
The gîte is adjoining the owner's house.
The entrance and the car park are independent.
Children and adults can take advantage of the large grounds and let themselves be lulled by the sound of the fountain adjoining the house.
House renovated in 2022 composed of 4 bedrooms including:
The “Machuraz” bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm) and a bathroom with separate WC
The “Grand Colombier” bedroom 2 single beds (90X200) and 1 bunk bed (2X90X190cm)
The “Clairefontaine” bedroom 1 double bed (160X190) and 1 bunk bed (2X90X190 cm)
The “Séran” bedroom 1 double bed (160 cm)
A separate WC and a bathroom with a shared Italian shower.
Fully equipped kitchen: Oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher...
The shops are 1 km from the cottage: baker, butcher, caterer, bank, tobacconist, cafes, pharmacy, restaurants and supermarket...

Walks: the Thurignin gorges, the Cerveyrieu waterfall and canyon, the Clairefontaine waterfall, the Pain de Sucre, the Puits des Tines, the Groin springs and the Fierloz massif.
We are at the foot of the Grand Colombier, the highest point of Bugey, mythical stage of the Tour de France, it is ideal for courageous cyclists who wish to become "crazy people of the Grand Colombier"...
