Swimming-pool Hiking trails Bike pathIn the Livradois-Forez regional nature park, an avenue of beech trees over 350 years old leads you to the small hamlet of Folgoux, hidden between ferns and moss-covered fir trees.
Spacious cottage for 2 to 6 people, in the middle of the forest. All rooms are heated. In the living room there is also a wood stove. The cottage has a kitchen equipped with hotplates and oven. A washing machine is also available.
The cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
10 kWh of electricity is included per day, additional consumption will be charged.
You will find our cottage next to the small castle of Folgoux. A little paradise at 920 meters with lots of forest, far from the hectic life and only 90 kilometers south of Clermont-Ferrand.
In our guest garden you can enjoy the sun and the outdoors.
Near our house (2 km walk), there is a body of water with a pleasant little bar.
In the immediate vicinity you can go hiking, cycling, motorcycling, canoeing, horse riding and tennis.
4 km away is the pleasant medieval village of La Chaise-Dieu, with its famous church and abbey, renowned for its international classical festival held in its impressive collegiate church.
The towns of Ambert (30 min), Craponne-sur-Arzon (25 min) and Puy-en-Velay (45 min) offer pretty markets, shops and terraces.

If, for any reason, the Lessee cannot, will not or will not accept the rented property on the agreed date, the Lessee must inform the Lessor immediately. Telephone notification must be confirmed in writing or by email.
The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
If canceled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, your 50% deposit will not be refunded. In case of late cancellation, 100% of the price will be charged.
No refunds will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure compared to the agreed rental period.
Any refund will be reduced by €10 administration fee.
We advise you to take out travel and cancellation insurance.

The rental price includes bed linen (duvets, pillows, duvet covers and fitted sheets), bathroom linen (large and small towels) and kitchen linen (tea towels), for a maximum of 6 people.
The rental price includes 'fair use' gas, water and electricity. Excessive electricity consumption (more than 50 kWh per day on average) will be charged at €0.30 per kWh.
You can stay in our gîte with only one animal. Pets are not allowed in or on beds under any circumstances and must not disturb other guests.
Dogs must be kept on a leash on the La Fougeraie site and walked outside the property. A dog is allowed to run freely in the fenced garden of the gîte.
In the unlikely event of serious nuisance, we may ask you to leave early.
