The discovery of Munster and its valley:
o which abounds:
 many mountain lakes such as the green lake, the Forlet, the Altenweiher, or even the Fishboedle lake…
 multiple hiking trails signposted by the Vosges club
o which has classified nature reserves, within the Ballons des Vosges regional natural park but also its historical sites: such as Le linge (Battlefield 14-18), or the Château du Holansbourg
Munster is a small town with its history, its abbey, its restaurants, shops and its two weekly markets; without forgetting its storks.
Munster is located at the foot of the Col de la Schlucht and gives you the opening of the famous road of the crests and the Vosges like Gérardmer or Bresse.

You will find :
• at the entrance to Griesbach-au-Val, its station served by a TER which will take you from Metzeral at the bottom of the valley or to Colmar TGV station
• 100m from our gîte a cycle path that will take you from the bottom of the valley to Colmar

We are located:
• close to the famous wine route; thanks to it you will be able to cross Alsace by all our wine and medieval villages from South to North
• a few kilometers from the quoted Bartholdi, Colmar is a dynamic city with its museums, its picturesque districts, its “Little Venice” and its gastronomy

The plain of Alsace is full of wonders from North to South, you can discover many museums, castles, vineyards, but also the Rhine, the Vauban city of Neuf-Brisach and of course on our Christmas markets in December a stay while color and discovery.
