Gîte « Mon Jardin Nourricier » à la montagne

Welcome to the gîte “My nourishing garden” at an altitude of 850 m between Markstein and Petit Ballon in a natural setting close to the forest and pastures of the Vosges mountains. Ideal for resting or hiking!

You can observe wild animals. Several farms nearby offer local products, and more traditional shops are 15 minutes away by car. Our cottage is equipped with dry toilets.

Located in the old hayloft of our house, the cottage has an independent entrance from our large vegetable garden.

Access is via a dirt road of around 500 m, completely passable if you drive slowly. However, in winter, special equipment is essential (snow tires AND chains, 4x4 being a plus!). If snowfall is heavy, it may be necessary to walk the last 500 m

The 36 m² accommodation, ideal for 2 people, is equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant.
Be careful, the nearest grocery store is around ten kilometers away, so plan ahead, particularly in winter.

In the summer, you have an outdoor space, with garden table and chairs in our vegetable garden.
The accommodation is equipped with dry toilets, but we take care of the handling (composting).

Our gîte is not safe for young children and babies, so for security and liability reasons we prefer not to accommodate them.
