A very peaceful traditional cottage dating back to around 1800 in a small picture perfect hamlet for 4 persons, renovated in 2018 to a luxury standard near the historic town of Aubusson. There is a large sociable open plan kitchen, dining, living area, with a large fireplace containing a wood burner, leading to a private walled courtyard garden ideal for alfresco dining or a BBQ. On the first floor are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a free standing bath and a large walk in shower.

The cottage is ideal for a short break, or holiday at any time of the year, providing a home from home, with lots of space to enjoy a holiday with family, or friends. For those with a little more time we offer discounts for weekly and monthly stays. From our reviews you will see cleanliness had always been extremely important to us and we have now for your extra reassurance adopted enhanced cleaning in response to the coronavirus situation.
The cottage has a private walled courtyard garden, in addition you have use of our extensive walled secure garden. Guests really enjoy the extensive outdoor space, from couples enjoying the peace and quite relaxing on the sun loungers, to those with young children having fun in the paddling pool they brought on holiday. Ajacent to the cottage is a small barn providing secure storage for bikes and bike accessories.

"Calme à la campagne"
Nous souhaitions un séjour reposant, dans la verdure et les chants d'oiseaux et nous avons été gâtés. Nous avons fait de belles promenades depuis le gîte grâce aux cartes à disposition.

"Dream cottage"
It felt like coming home in the welcoming surroundings of the cottage. The garden was BIG and very well maintained. And the squirrels were plentyfull. The owners were very helpful despite the passing of the queen.

"Séjour calme et reposant d'une semaine en Creuse"
Nos hôtes anglais nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. La maison ancienne, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, est très agréable et dispose de tout le confort. Nous avons apprécié la fraicheur de son intérieur en ce mois d'août caniculaire ainsi que l'accès à son vaste jardin arboré. Une belle adresse!
