Three different camping pods are available, all insulated and heated. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags and camping gear, or rent a bed linen package with sheets, pillow, duvet and towel.
At Fossatun Camping Pods, there is access to extra convenience, such as a service house with shared bathroom facilities, communal changing rooms and showers, plus a private shower. There are also two shared equipped kitchen and dining houses plus outdoor barbecue facilities.
Guests can relax in the outdoor hot tubs and an array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings including Troll- and Folktale hiking trails.
Access to a washing machine and clothes dryer is available for a surcharge. A free private parking place is provided next to each pod.
You can enjoy local as well as international cuisine at the on-site restaurant with its view over Troll Falls. The restaurant features a vinyl collection with over 3000 records and guests can make requests to staff for their favorites during dinner.
The nearest town is Borgarnes, 22 km away. Snæfellsnes Peninsula is 103 km from the property, while Thingvellir National Park is 67 km away.
