Our charming accommodation, rated 2 stars, offers an authentic countryside experience. It includes a living room of 30 m², a shower room with WC, a small dressing room and a sunny balcony of 6 m². You will find two double beds, as well as everything you need to accommodate your baby, on request.

Located in the heart of nature, in a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the forest, our cottage skilfully combines country authenticity with modern comfort, creating a unique and charming atmosphere.

General Description: This old converted barn offers all the comfort with its exposed beams and stones, at the foot of the Cathar Ariégeoises Pyrenees. A haven of peace for lovers of nature, mountains, history and prehistory. Just 3 km from Lavelanet (6,500 inhabitants), you will have everything you need at your fingertips. Within a 50 km radius you will find plenty of activities for all tastes, whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling.

Environment and View: Nothing overlooked, only a breathtaking view of the greenery. Our cottage is nestled in the heart of nature, in a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the forest, populated by around fifteen inhabitants (and perhaps a few deer or wild boars that you may see in the garden).

Location and Nearby Towns: 5 minutes from the town center of Lavelanet (6,500 inhabitants) and supermarkets. Near Montségur, Mirepoix, Camon, Foix, Tarascon, Pamiers, Carcassonne, St Girons and St Lizier. A few minutes from the lakes of Montbel and Puivert (free swimming), Cathar castles, medieval towns and prehistoric sites. One hour from the Vicdessos and Couserans valleys, an hour and a half from Andorra, two hours from the sea and Spain.

Activities and Leisure: Ariège offers a multitude of activities for all tastes: canoeing, canyoning, rafting, hiking, horse riding, fishing, swimming, tree climbing, skiing at Monts d'Olmes (20 km), natural sites , museums, local gastronomy and much more, to satisfy young and old alike.
