Eco-Gîte du Moulin de Dun, Ariège

Le Moulin de Dun is an eco-place located in the Douctouyre valley between Mirepoix and Foix.

The places have different spaces, some are rented for the year, others used for various types of activity (internship, show, concert, woofing or other associative event) and finally the cottage for seasonal rental.
The gîte is located in a beautiful building which was once a mill, on a wooded plot of 3000m², with the Douctouyre river which passes at the bottom of the property.

The entrance to the gîte is via a wooden terrace which overlooks the garden.
You will have the possibility to park your vehicle in the garden Near the entrance door of the lodgings.

The house keeps cool in summer thanks to its very thick walls.
For the cooler seasons a wood stove can heat the spaces.

Particular attention is paid to respecting the environment on this site.

The household products provided are ecological and the cosmetic products (soap/shampoo, etc.) used must also be so (possibility of making them available if necessary, on request).

The cottage works with dry toilets inside and outside.

Outside you can enjoy the following areas:
Private spaces: sunny terrace facing south, shaded area under the lime tree with table and chairs.
But also shared spaces, with the other people present on the eco-place:
River access, covered swimming pool, solar shower, dry toilets

Inside:
As you saw in the description:
3 bedrooms, two with a double bed and a bedroom in a row with two single beds.
A bathroom with bathtub, A fitted kitchen and a large living room.

As a bonus and for free:
Solid parquet floor room (see photo) accessible on request for quiet practices (yoga, meditation, talking circle, etc.) reserved for adults, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Access is via a shared staircase in the house.
