This region of France, bathed in sunshine, between sea and mountains, is the setting for famous monuments (castles, monasteries, etc.) and very beautiful picturesque villages such as Collioure, Banyuls, Castelnou, Eus, Villefranche-de-Conflent, Elne, Saint-Martin du Canigou, and not forgetting Sainte-Colombe-de-la-Commanderie.
The Pyrénées-Orientales are also centers of modern attraction such as the city of Perpignan, ski resorts (Les Angles, Font Romeu, Montlouis, etc.), seaside resorts (Argelès, Saint-Cyprien, Le Canet, etc.) and proximity to Spain (Col du Perthus, Figueras, Girona, etc.)
