Bocce ball court Table tennisThe Gite Tranquille is a comfortable cottage with two bedrooms located in the small hamlet of La Jousselinière in the Vendée countryside. 40 minutes from Puy du Fou and 50 minutes from the beaches of the Vendée. Ideal for families or for a couple who want to escape the stress life !
The house is located on a quiet lane, with little traffic and has off road parking. The views from the bedrooms are very nice - with an orchard of cherry trees and walnut trees around a large lawn.
The cottage has all modern comforts (Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine) and is in a central location for most of the nearby tourist attractions.
This is an ideal place to relax from the stress of everyday life - there is sunbathing in the private garden and one can explore the country paths nearby.
Inside, the ground floor is open with a living / dining room at one end and a fully equipped kitchen at the other - plus a separate WC. There is a tv (uk tv channels), Wi-Fi Internet connection and a bookcase full of books and games. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and shower room and one with two single beds and a bathroom. A third single bed, or a cot, can be added to the twin room if needed.
Outside there is a table and chairs for al fresco meals. There is also a private lawn area with sun loungers. The cottage has a view of the large garden and orchard - with bowling alley, table tennis and picnic areas.
The area has many good restaurants, many sales of locally caught seafood or other Vendée specialties. It is renowned for being a microclimate here, and the Vendée is the second sunniest part of France !
The owners live next door and are very friendly and enjoy meeting new people and helping them explore the area.

If we are able to re-let your cancelled holiday dates, we will refund your deposit and final payment (where appropriate), however we will deduct £50/€50 as an administration fee, plus more if we have to spend money on extra advertising or discounts to sell your cancelled dates.
We would strongly recommend that clients take out insurance at the time of booking – to cover medical, personal and cancellation charges.

Super accueil des hôtes
Le lieu est très calme et reposant
Tout y est pour adultes et enfants (balançoire, ping pong, petit baby-foot, terrain de boule etc..) avec un très grand espace vert.
Les hôtes sont toujours à notre disposition et avec le sourire!
