Situated in the heart of the historic town of Gräfrath, this unique building offers industrial design interiors and free Wi-Fi. Das Trafohaus provides views of the Gräfrather Heide park.

A historic transformer building used in the 1920s to supply energy to Solingen, Das Trafohaus has been converted to a one-room hotel. It offers a fully equipped kitchen as well as a living room with open fireplace and flat-screen satellite TV.

Guests are welcome to relax in the Arabian-style bathroom or on the peaceful garden terrace. The hotel is 100 metres from the German Blade Museum and 3 km from the centre of Solingen.

Das Trafohaus offers free parking and is next to the A46 motorway. It is a 25-minute drive from central Düsseldorf and 35 minutes from central Cologne.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 3 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
