Charge for Unnecessary Call-Outs and Lost Keys
Definition of Unnecessary Call-Outs:
Unnecessary call-outs refer to service requests or visits prompted by guest negligence or failure to properly check or address issues within their control, including non-emergency out-of-hours requests.
Guest Responsibility:
Guests are expected to exercise due diligence in assessing and resolving basic issues related to their stay, such as understanding room amenities, equipment operation, and facility guidelines. This includes non-emergency situations outside regular service hours.
Examples of Guest Negligence:
Call-outs resulting from failure to read provided instructions.
Issues caused by improper use of equipment or amenities.
Failure to report non-urgent matters during regular service hours.
Non-emergency requests outside of standard service hours.
Charge Application:
Guests will be subject to a service fee for unnecessary call-out visits, determined based on the nature and complexity of the issue. Additionally, a fee will be applied for the replacement of lost keys.
Notification Process:
Prior to any charge, guests will be informed of the potential fee associated with an unnecessary call-out or lost keys and given the opportunity to rectify the situation independently.
Fee Structure:
Charges will be assessed based on the time, labor, and resources expended to address the unnecessary call-out or replace lost keys.
Discretionary Exceptions:
Management reserves the right to waive charges in exceptional cases, issues relating to the property maintenance, or when guests can demonstrate a valid reason for the oversight.
