Côté Lavandes - Château La Villatade

Just 15 km from Carcassonne, La Villatade is a charming stopover that makes you want to slow down, enjoy, get away from it all in the middle of 130 hectares in one piece, with pine forests, scrubland, vineyards with steep hills hills, fields of olive trees, dry stone shelters and a few cypresses.

Côté Lavandes overlooks a beautiful south-facing terrace with a magnificent view of the vineyards, the surrounding scrubland and Mount Canigou, the highest peak in the Pyrénées Orientales culminating at 2784 meters.
The accommodation comprises a large living room with an open kitchen opening onto the south-facing terrace. The bedroom with double bed (160) has a spacious shower room, two single beds in the living room. Ideal for 2 or 4 people; the decoration is fresh and neat.

The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, television, barbecue and garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave. Sheets and linens and towels are provided.

It is an ideal place to relax, swim, walk the Cathar paths, visit the many cultural sites in the region.

Our lodgings and guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, conducive to moments of pure happiness with family or friends around a good bottle.
A former irrigation basin transformed into a 26-meter-long natural swimming pool is a delight for young and old alike with its large lawn for basking, playing or simply resting and enjoying the serenity of the landscape.
For hikers, La Villatade offers many walks or bike rides, with the GR 36 which passes through the area.
