Very beautiful territory rich in activities. To enjoy the fresh air of Normandy and recharge your batteries, you can practice sailing, sand yachting, horse riding, fishing, hiking, sea walks. The culinary richness is there, you can taste very good local products, caramels from Isigny, cider, dairy products from Isigny Sainte Mère, fish of the day with the daily landing at Grandcamp Maisy.
From a tourist point of view, we have a very beautiful area known by Omaha Beach (the main landing beach, also called Golden Beach). You can visit all the highlights of the D-Day landings such as the American Military Cemetery at Colleville sur Mer, Pointe du Hoc Cricqueville en Bessin, the German Military Cemetery at La Cambe, La Batterie de Maisy and all the museums surrounding this beach.
Nearby, more or less 1 hour from your accommodation, you can visit Bayeux its Tapestry and its Cathedral (20 mins), the Bessin Carentan les Marais Natural Park (20 mins), the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg (1 hour), Mont Saint Michel (1h15). This location is at the heart of all the events of the 80th Anniversary of the landing with the official ceremony on June 6, 2024.
This location is 2 hours 45 minutes from Paris (direct line Lison-Paris) Capital of the 2024 Olympic games.

Ce gîte est formidable propre, bien agencé, tout confort, literie confortable (électrique).
La cuisine est top super bien équipée et de qualitée (four, frigo, micro ondes, lave vaisselle, machine à laver et de nombreux électroménagers cafetière filtre et capsules)
Salle de bain spacieuse bien équipée avec sèche cheveux serviettes...
Le logement est baigné de lumière dans un village calme mais proche de tout pour aller visiter.
Le parking est juste devant pour la sécurité du véhicule.
Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse et très serviables.
Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous louons ce gîte et à chaque fois c'est un plaisir.
La cuisine est top super bien équipée et de qualitée (four, frigo, micro ondes, lave vaisselle, machine à laver et de nombreux électroménagers cafetière filtre et capsules)
