Chalet montagnard

In the Couserans region, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park
Our chalet has nothing in common with certain bungalows intended exclusively for vacation rentals. It is classified with the mention 3 stars.
We carefully followed the manufacturing by our local craftsmen as well as the layout, equipment and final decoration.
We wanted it to be rustic, in harmony with our mountains, while giving up nothing to the elements of comfort.
The simple, sober and tasteful furnishings, in contrast with the omnipresent wood, generate a feeling of balance and serenity.
It is nestled in a clearing surrounded by forests and pastures, without any traffic, where traditional pastoral life continues unaltered.

It consists :
- on the ground floor: a living room with open kitchen, a bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a cabin area with television, which can also be used as an extra bed for two children (140 cm fireside chair) and a bathroom with separate toilet
- upstairs, on the mezzanine, accessible by a ladder, there are 2 90 cm beds and a storage area
The particular attention paid to thermal insulation makes our chalets as cozy in summer as in winter. They are also equipped with an efficient heating method which is essential in our mountains in winter.
