Hiking trails Bicycle hireThe Chalet Le Cantou is located in a warm and relaxing place, in the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes, at an altitude of 1000 m, on a plateau overlooking Lake Chambon and the Chaudefour valley.
You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Sancy massif.
The chalet is located in a small mountain hamlet, Montaleix, 5 km from Murol and 9 km from Besse with its few farms and hiking trails.
The exteriors (950 m²): wooded land with a south-facing terrace and breathtaking view of the Massif du Sancy.
The interior (70 m²):
• on the ground floor: entrance hall, laundry room, bathroom with walk-in shower, separate WC, main room with wood stove and veranda with view of the massif
• upstairs: two bedrooms, one large with a 140 bed and a baby bed and a smaller one with 2 beds: a 90 bed and a 140 bed
Further information :
Baby equipment available on request: stroller, high chair, deckchair, hiking backpack.
Animals are welcome with a supplement of 20 € / week.
Weekly reservations only - from Saturday to Saturday.
