There are numerous restaurants and bars in the nearby town. The holiday home has a garden with a seating area and BBQ facilities.

There is an enclosed pond in the garden and is full of life with anything from frogs to otters and dragon flies to ducklings depending on the time of year. Guests can engage in various activities nearby such as walking, hiking and canoeing.

The property is only 2.5 km from Baltimore and the Lough Hyne Nature Reserve is a short walk away. The holiday home is a short boat trip to both Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands.
