Built between 1767 and 1864, "La Vieille Dame" is a charming house with warm and welcoming rooms. The decoration and furnishings have been carefully sourced to create a peaceful setting.
The family kitchen and the large living room with its English pub feel are perfect for lounging around the fireplace, in front of the TV (Netflix / English channels) or around the table football!
On the ground floor, there is also a suite opening directly onto the garden, with its elegant bathroom with shower and lion's foot bath.
Upstairs, 3 other bedrooms with views over the Causses, a dormitory for 6 people and 2 further shower rooms complete the sleeping area.
Outside, the large stone terrace with barbecue area, shaded by tall trees, and the heated swimming pool open onto a large garden with uninterrupted views of the Causses. Ideal for admiring the flamboyant sunsets.
Just a few minutes from Cahors (don't miss the Saturday morning market!) and the Lot valley, close to St-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, the Dordogne (Sarlat, Domme), Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val... Climbing, canoeing, caving, hiking, museums, markets, festivals, wine tasting and local produce!

Nous voulions partager un week-end en famille dans un endroit chaleureux. Nous nous sommes sentis de suite chez nous. Le gite est spacieux, la décoration pleine de charme, il ne manque rien. Nous avons aimé le gite, la proximité de cahors et des sites touristiques, et tout particulièrement l'accueil chaleureux et bienveillant de ses hôtes

"Une parenthèse enchantée"
Une parenthèse enchantée : l’accueil professionnel et chaleureux, le confort de la maison , la décoration soignée, l’environnement calme et apaisant, le jardin et la piscine ouverts sur l’horizon et ses magnifiques couchers de soleil rendent ce lieu magique, à 2 pas de Cahors et des sites touristiques du lot !
