The main building is a renovated 900-year-old farmhouse. The garden includes a children’s playground and a sunbathing lawn.
Overlooking the large garden and the Tennengebirge Mountains, the Rettenbachgut’s en-suite rooms feature traditional wooden furniture and floors.
Breakfast is served in a traditionally furnished lounge and includes homemade bread and jams, in addition to other items. Guests can use shared kitchen and relax in the TV room. Free private parking is available on site, and hiking and ski touring trails start right outside.
Werfen Train Station is 1.5 km away, with free transfers available on request. Hohenwerfen Fortress and the starting point for the Eisriesenwelt Ice Caves are 3 km away. The Sound of Music Trail is 2 km away.
Salzburg is a 30-minute drive away. The Ski Amadé ski region starts 20 km from the property.
