'Les Etables' is a stylish and comfortable three bedroom stone house located in the beautiful main courtyard of La Cannonerie.

Large double height open plan living/dining room and brand new modern kitchen.
Travertine flooring and stone walls make this an elegant family retreat.
There is a king-size bedroom on the ground floor, a family bathroom with bath, shower and WC and a further king-size bedroom.
Upstairs there is a large king-size bedroom and a shower/washing room.
Quality bed linen is provided and beds are made upon arrival.
Outside the chalet you will find a picnic table and barbecue.

5 minutes drive from our nearest town, Jonzac with market on Tuesday and Friday.
Jonzac has a nice selection of restaurants and an outdoor barbecue.
You will also find supermarkets and bakeries in the town.

The chalet is a short walk from the village which has a small shop, restaurant and lunch bar.

The Cannonerie was built in 1826 and incorporates parts of a medieval hunting lodge believed to have been built by François I.

About an hour from the beautiful coastal beaches and the famous islands of Ré and Oléron, La Cannonerie is the ideal location for day trips to the beach or to one of the many other places of interest, including Bordeaux, St Emilion, Cognac, Angoulême, La Rochelle and Saintes.
