Looking for a place to stay in Grouw? Then look no further than De Thuiskamer, a family-friendly bed and breakfast that brings the best of Grouw to your doorstep.
Spending the night in the oldest house in Grou? This is possible in an almost 400-year-old beautiful national monument, from the year 1654. Located in the most beautiful spot right in the center of Grou.
This unique and exclusive address for your overnight stays and business meetings is opposite the 12th-century St. Piter's Church, where the atmosphere of yesteryear can still be felt. Located less than 100 meters from the water and in the center of Grou in the heart of Friesland, this is the ideal place for both water sports enthusiasts and businessman.
But De Thuiskamer is also the ideal base to discover Friesland, for those seeking peace and quiet who want to get out of the city for a while or just get away together.
This lovely “De Thuiskamer” is also available for a weekend or week away with the whole family. From passion and authenticity I ensure quality and continuity, so that my guests are optimally OUT, with that warm feeling of HOME!.
The rooms
The Home Room has two guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms are attractively furnished, equipped with all modern comforts, but where the old details have been taken into account. The rooms are located on the first floor. This makes it (unfortunately) not suitable for people with a mobile disability.
The Home Room has its own entrance, so you enjoy a lot of privacy. If you book both rooms, the entire house, the B&B, is entirely at your disposal.
