Between the sea and the countryside, a 15-minute walk from the heart of the village, in an old renovated farm, the 36 m² single-storey apartment can accommodate 2 people (1 160 x 200 bed).

The fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a 2-burner induction hob, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and crockery for 4 people.
All household linen is provided (sheets, towels and tea towels)
The shower room is spacious and functional.
There is WiFi access and parking for a vehicle is provided.

The owners live in another part of the old farm.

The small seaside resort of Port des Barques is located in the Charente estuary, it is an old fishing village and it is still an oyster site. It is an ideal central point for organizing walks to Rochefort (the Corderie, the Hermione, ...), the citadel of Brouage, the island of Oléron, La Rochelle (the port and the aquarium), the 'Île de Ré, ... and walks or bike rides to Madame Island (depending on tide times) or to Aix Island and Fort Boyard (pier at the Royal Fountain of Lupine at 5 minutes on foot).
