The Point Lighthouse Cats (more commonly known as Lighthouse Cats) is a leading indicator of hazard located on the tip of the same name in the southeast of the island of Groix.
Built around 1897 on a former defense battery, he was commissioned October 15, 1898. It was thought necessary the construction of this building of 15.22 m (17.92 m above sea level) because of the many ships that were wrecked on the rocky base of long-Cats (name from the nickname given to these reefs by groisillons of the time), extending over a mile.
