Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval

Joseph Ferdinand Cheval, better known by the name of Ferdinand Cheval and more by the nickname of Cheval was a French postman who spent 33 years of his life to building an "Ideal Palace" and an additional eight years to build his own tomb, both considered masterpieces of folk art. This monument of 26 meters by 14 and 10 meters high is a real frenzy built from stones recovered during his tours by Ferdinand Cheval.
