Presented in the rooms of the Villa Arena, home of Genoese seventeenth century that houses the Matisse Museum since 1963, the museum's permanent collection now has paintings and paper cutouts, drawings, prints, sculptures (almost all of the carved out), also illustrated books and photographs, objects that belonged to the painter, supplemented prints, tapestries, ceramics, stained glass windows and documents.
