Established since 1976 in the fortified gatehouse Poissy Abbey (Priory Royal fourteenth century), the museum is devoted to games and toys for children between 1850 and 1950. The tour begins with toys for boys and girls by 1900:: porcelain dolls, rocking horses, tea sets, boats and cars ... The teddy bears are an entire window. A room is reserved for the doll and its history, the "Paris" of the Second Empire to "Barbie". The visitor then turns, arranged in large windows, games and learning toys, building sets, blocks and puzzles, houses, shops, post offices and printing. Further, the toys are given military outfits, toy soldiers and paper. Toys and optical techniques are numerous. Some toys can be manipulated science, one can also admire the collection of magic lanterns. The second floor, with its beautiful old frame, recreates the atmosphere of an attic ...
