Born in 1951 from the passion of Moissac, Marguerite Vidal, the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions has naturally found its place in the old abbey palace. Revised extensively XVIIlème century, the building retains a Romanesque chapel with wall paintings dating from the year 1200. This museum shows the life of Moissac through everyday objects: beautiful collections of furniture in walnut mainly regional, earthenware or crockery Auvillar trace the life of past centuries.
