The Museum of the Bayeux Tapestry, located in the former seminary of Bayeux, home to the most famous medieval tapestry. This document is unique in the world, is actually a wool embroidery on linen canvas in the eleventh century. Out of nearly 70 m long and 50 cm high, it recounts the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy.
