Le Dôme

The Dome de Marseille is a theater located on the Esplanade Saint-Just.

Since 1994, the Dome has become its location and structure, the meeting place of various forms of entertainment in the South of France: rock, pop, classical and contemporary dance, theater, comedy shows.

The room can accommodate from 1 200 to 8,500 spectators depending on the configuration of the show.

Its dome reminiscent of the hull of an upturned boat and is supported by an arc of 27 m in height.

The Dome can accommodate also flexible due to its ability made possible by a clever curtain gauge games, conventions business. Since its inauguration in 1994, the Dome has hosted nearly 900,000 spectators.
