Lac de Roselend

Roselend Dam is a dam in French vault, located in the Beaufort (Savoie), between the neck of the Pre and the Cormet de Roseland, near the ski resort of Arêches-Beaufort. The mountains around are around 2800 meters.

Measuring 800 meters long and 150 m high, it can hold up to 185 million cubic meters of water. Associated with dams Gittaz and St. Guerin and central Bâthie, they make up the vast array of hydroelectric Beaufortain. His neighbor, the dam of Girotte, perched above the valley of Hauteluce, is not one.

Roselend Dam is considered the most "aesthetic" dams of Savoy.
