In 2007, a "ribbon Heritage", a competition that distinguishes and rewards of Commons who worked in the business of development of their built heritage, has awarded the town of Chambon-Feugerolles for the rehabilitation of La Forge. In June 2006 the municipality launched this vestige of the plant of plane trees that belonged to the "Société des Forges and Steelworks Claudinon Jacques & Co.". Even transformed into modern theater, The Forge, like the Well of the Marais, which marks the eastern entrance of the city, remains a strong symbol of its industrial past.
