Château de la Groulais

The castle of Blain or Groulais castle is a medieval fortress built in the thirteenth century and heavily restored in the sixteenth century, located in the town of Blain, in Loire-Atlantique.
He was one of the defenses of the border with Brittany Vitre, Fougeres, Chateaubriand, and Ancenis Clisson.

Some parts of the castle is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since June 15, 1977.
