Listed building, it was founded in 1115 in a narrow valley south of the Dordogne. From 1119, she became part of Citeaux (Burgundian monastery was founded in 1098. Cadouin Abbey is on the World Heritage List by UNESCO under the Santiago pilgrimage in France.
