The holiday home has an open-plan living room with king size bed and double sofa bed, 1 bathroom with bath and overhead shower, Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and with beautiful woodland views. Non smoking throughout.

Guests can enjoy walking and cycling nearby, explore the Ashdown Forest or make the most of the many local attractions. The South Coast and the South Downs all reachable within an hours drive.

Brighton & Hove are 16.7 miles, while Eastbourne is 22.3 miles from the property. The nearest airport is London Gatwick, 11.1 miles from the accommodation and the nearest railway station is Haywards Heath at 6.2 miles distance.

This beautifully interior designed, self-contained holiday home has its own private garden and wonderful uninterrupted views to the woodland beyond. Ideally situated off a quiet country lane in the rural village of Danehill, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on the edge of the 6,500-acre Ashdown Forest, synonymous with Winnie the Pooh. The award-winning Coach and Horses gastro-pub is a 3 mins walk away.

Unwind in a peaceful and calm open plan setting with the benefit of a sumptuous four-poster bed and new deep pocket sprung and memory foam mattress. The marble bathroom has a double ended bath, rainwater shower and waterfall taps. Egyptian cotton bed linen, goose down duvet, soft blankets and towels are provided.

The dining space seats 4-6 and there is a lovely sitting room area with comfy pull-out double sofa bed. French windows overlook the expansive woodland with black-out blinds to ensure a good nights sleep. There is useful eaves storage with a clothes hanging rail. Downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen with cooker, grill and ceramic hob, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge, washer/dryer and a Breakfast Bar.

Come and explore the Ashdown Forest and the vibrant, historic towns of Lewes, East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells. The South Downs and Coast are within an hours drive. Brighton Marina is 40 mins drive and Glyndebourne Opera House 30 mins. Discover wonderful walks on the doorstep to take in the stunning countryside. Local attractions include The Bluebell Steam Railway, Bluebell Vineyard Estates, National Trust Sheffield Park and Garden and Trading Boundaries Cafe and Concert venue. Nearby sporting and recreational activities include clay pigeon shooting at Northall Club in Fletching, riding at East View Riding Centre and fishing at Latchetts Lakes in Danehill. Golf at Lindfield and Haywards Heath, sailing at Weir Wood and Ardingly Reservoirs and racing at Plumpton and Brighton.

Visit nearby Borde Hill Gardens with its open air concerts, Standen National Trust House and Garden, Wakehurst Botanical Gardens and Ardingly Country Fair Showground.
