Vipassana meaning an insight into the true nature of reality, is a beautiful suite which transports guests into a world of unreality. Vipassana’s immediate neighbors are a family of wild parrots that live in a tree just outside the room. It has a large bedroom, a Dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Vipassana also has its own ‘Antique Library’ with extremely rare ancient coins and works of art made with Ivory used by kandyan royalty more than a century ago. It offers amazing views of the lake as well as the forest. The en-suite bathroom completes with two showers, one outdoor and one indoor and outsized bath, is decorated with genuine antique pieces and offers an amazing view of the Lake as well as the forest.

Named after the Samatha yoga designed to calm the Mind, Samatha is a small Peaceful and Cosy room set slightly away from Staircases and other common areas. Ideal for a couple It has a twin view, on one side the Lake and the other the forest. Many sightings of Deer, Wild Boar, Monkeys and Monitor Lizard has been reported from this room. Furnished with genuine kandyan antiques, it has an en suite bathroom with standard shower and an antique four poster bed with Luxurious bed linen.

Named after the famous Kundalini Yoga designed to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human, kundalini is located on the second floor of the building offering, a clear view of the lake, and the treetops of the forest surrounding the building. The room has all the luxury amenities that a property of this nature could offer including exclusive mattresses and exquisite linen. The bed in the room is where ‘Anagarika Dharmapala’ an ancient hero of Sri Lanka slept, and the room has an antique writing table. The en-suite bathroom is filled with genuine antique works of art and complete with a bath and shower with amazing views of the lake and the Hills beyond.
Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.Persons 0 and over stay for 75 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Children up to 6 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
