Located 2 steps from the small port of Marseilles-lès-Aubigny, our lodging welcomes comfortably on the ground floor of the house.
It consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a bed of 140x190, the other with two beds 90x190), an open kitchen to the living room and dining room and a bathroom (shower) with toilet .
Small vegetable garden, aromatic plants and a nice variety of flowers and shrubs are scattered in the garden.
Direct access to the towpath and Canal Lateral to the Loire by the stone stairs, in the garden.
Joggers, walkers and cyclists will join directly the "Loire à Vélo" trail that passes the house, Loire side.
Golfers will enjoy the 9-hole golf course of Saint-Hilaire Gondilly that has been developed to suit all levels of play.
Mushrooms lovers can reach in few minutes the forest of Marseilles-lès-Aubigny.
The riders will find an equestrian center within 15 minutes.
Each trip is an opportunity for wine lovers to discover Les Coteaux Charitois, Sancerre, Pouilly and Coteaux du Giennois and we will share with you our gastronomic heart strokes.
To discover in the area:
- The Cistercian Abbey of Fontmorigny (6 km) whose history is linked to the development of the steel industry. Every summer, concerts are held in the old church or in the refectory of the lay (program www.abbayedefontmorigny.com)
- Cuffy and the canal bridge over the Loire
- The village of Apremont sur Allier, one of the most beautiful villages of France and its floral park
- Halle Grossouvre where you will discover the history of metallurgy whose region was at the forefront, there are almost two centuries
On the other bank of the Loire, Nièvre side in Burgundy:
- La Charite sur Loire: booksellers, the Word Festival late May-early June, the Blues Festival in the Loire in August (15 km)
- Nevers and the Ducal Palace (XVth century), the cathedral, the museum of earthenware and Fine Arts (17 km)
- 30 km: Magny-Cours
You can also rent a canoe and go down the Loire or rent bicycles to enjoy the proximity of the bike tourist route "Loire à Vélo"
Religious or cultural heritage, the Pays Loire Val d'Aubois is no shortage of attractions for all tastes and all ages.

"Quinze jours de rêve"
gite trés confortable, spacieux et calme dans un havre de verdure, de fleurs, de plantes aromatiques... et de multiples senteurs! Situé de façon idéale pour faire d'un côté de la marche ou du VTT le long du canal latéral de la Loire et de l'autre un excellent point de départ pour des randonnées à bicyclette le long de la Loire sur des pistes cyclables bien aménagées et sécurisées. Accueil trés chaleureux. A recommander!...
