SMOKING IS FORBIDDEN INSIDE THE GITE, outside no problem, ashtrays available.
Superb gîte labeled Gîtes de France 2 épis which has obtained the prestigious “TROPHÉE CLIENTS GITES DE FRANCE” since 2017. It is located in Auvergne, in the department of Puy de Dôme, in the heart of the Livradois-Forez regional natural park, at 1150 m altitude
Nestled in a green setting, in absolute calm, it is a haven of peace and serenity!
It is a charming detached farmhouse, in regional blond granite, very nicely renovated whilst retaining the authenticity of the residence.
It is approved by Gîtes de France for 5 people (sleeps 6), is very well equipped and decorated with refinement.
The south-facing grassy courtyard is fenced and has a pretty garden to the west. Holidaymakers can therefore enjoy the sun all day long.
An unclosed carport is located at the rear of the gîte. Motorcycles and bicycles have a garage.
THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS ACCOMMODATION:
- beds are made on arrival free of charge from 5 nights.
- bathroom and household linen are provided free of charge for stays of 5 nights or more
- a welcome gift is systematically offered to our vacationers
- we also have all the baby equipment (high chair with baby cutlery, 2 cots with mattresses, mattress protectors, sheets, potty, changing mat, baby bath). Secure gîte for children (stairs, stove and bin).
- gîte equipped with free INTERNET by FREEBOX Fiber and an unlimited landline telephone to landlines and mobiles in France. TELEWORK POSSIBILITY.
- mountain bike loans for adults (3) and children (3).

WINTER PERIOD:
The cottage is located a few kilometers from the ski resorts of Prabouré and Pradeaux. The Prabouré station becomes a summer resort with many activities for adults and children. Children can go sledding as far as the eye can see on the slopes of the hilltop village of Besse (where the gîte is located). Snowshoes can be worn from the lodge.
Excellent household appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, combination cooker, fridge-freezer, additional chest freezer, vacuum cleaner, table vacuum cleaner, raclette set, fondue set, mixer, pressure cooker, flat screen TV, DVD player + DVD). Plenty of quality dishes.
Heating by a pretty, quality GODIN wood stove with FREE WOOD + efficient electric convectors (8 kWh/night of electricity are included in the rental price), consumption beyond that is invoiced at the price invoiced by TOTAL ENERGIES at the time of stay.
PETS (WELCOMED FOR FREE (1 or 2) BUT ONLY IF AGREEMENT BY THE OWNERS when booking. THE ROOMS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO DOGS and the ADJOINING LAND MUST BE FREE OF ANY FEEDING WHEN HOLIDAYS DEPARTURE. Dogs must not be left alone in the lodging.

Holidaymakers can therefore make their reservations with confidence knowing that in the event of cancellation problems related to COVID 19, they will not be financially impacted following their reservation.
If the cancellation occurs for a reason other than COVID 19, the Gîtes de France rental conditions apply: deposit not refunded and payment of the balance depending on the date of cancellation.

For the 2021 end-of-year holidays: RENTAL FROM SUNDAY TO SUNDAY, given that Christmas and New Year's Day are Sunday.
HEATING: 8 kWh of electricity per night are included in the rental price. The meter is read on arrival and departure of holidaymakers, in their presence and the additional consumption is billed 0.15538 € / kWh (ENGIE rate from 06/01/2019 to 05/31/2022)
The wood is sold for 25 € per cubic meter in proportion to its consumption of course.
For information, during winter 2020-2021, the average consumption of electricity + wood is between 40 € and 50 € / week, with very different consumption from one stay to another. Electricity consumption is higher this winter because holidaymakers cook a lot more, due to the closure of restaurants.
Of course the cottage is heated on arrival of holidaymakers.
Bed and bathroom linen (bath towels, hand towels, hand towels, gloves, bath mats), household linen (tea towels) and various household products + laundry are provided free of charge from 3 overnight stays. ALL THE LAUNDRY ARE WASHED AT 60 ° FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS WITH ADDITIONAL DISINFECTANT in addition to doubling the dose of detergent.
Tourist tax only for adults, from 18 years old (0.60 € / person / night for 2018).

Coming from St-Anthème, in the village of Chouzet, take the D 262 LEFT, or coming from Ambert by the D 996 and the Col des Pradeaux, take this same D 262 RIGHT. You should not leave this road, descend into the valley, cross a small bridge, then the village of Sapt, then Burianne and continue to Besse. Our cottage is located on the back of the village at number 25.
