Royal Island Resort Maldives

Royal Island Resort & Spa ligt in het Baa-atol, op de Maldiven. Vanuit dit tropische eiland kijkt u uit over de Indische Oceaan. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, een spa en rustige witte zandstranden.

U kunt genieten van duiktrips en cruises bij zonsondergang. Wie op zoek is naar meer avontuurlijke sporten kan gaan waterskiën of kitesurfen. Verder vindt u hier een buitenzwembad, een fitnessruimte en tennisbanen.

De villa's van Royal Island zijn gebouwd met houten materialen en beschikken over een eigen patio met een zithoek en uitzicht op de Indische Oceaan. Elke kamer biedt een tv en een eigen badkamer met een ligbad en een douche.

Er worden dagelijks buffetmaaltijden geserveerd in het Maakaana Restaurant, dat vlak aan het strand ligt. Het Raabondhi Restaurant is gespecialiseerd in visgerechten. Er zijn lichte maaltijden en drankjes verkrijgbaar bij de 4 bars.

In 30 minuten reist u met een vliegtuig vanaf de internationale luchthaven van Malé naar het Royal Island Resort & Spa. Dit vervoer is verplicht en wordt door het resort georganiseerd. Hiervoor wordt een toeslag in rekening gebracht die u bij aankomst dient te betalen.

Huisdieren zijn niet toegestaan in het etablissement.
Kinderen van alle leeftijden zijn welkom.
Kinderen tot 1 jaar (inclusief) verblijven gratis wanneer ze in een beschikbare wieg slapen.
Extra bedden of babybedjes zijn alleen beschikbaar op verzoek en dienen door de accommodatie te worden bevestigd.
Toeslagen worden niet automatisch verrekend in het totale bedrag van de reservering op de site en moeten apart rechtstreeks aan het etablissement worden betaald.

The charges are as follows, until 23 December 2026:
1. Domestic Transfers (Round-trip):
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 400
- Child (2–11 years): USD 200 per child.

2. Private Seaplane Transfers (Round-trip):
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 5500 per person

Domestic Flight transfer takes 20 minutes from Male International Airport.

Standard Transfer Times: To reach Royal Island Resort & Spa on the same day, guests must arrive at Male International Airport before 17:00 local Male time.

Please note that the property cannot organize departure domestic flight transfers for international flights which depart prior to 0900 hours local Male time.

Arrival and departure flight details, full names, and date of birth of all guests as stated in the passport should be provided to the resort 96 hours (4 days) before arrival to arrange transfers. In case these details are communicated later than 96 hours (4 days) we may not be able to guarantee same-day connections.

Please note that a Green Tax of USD 6 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.

Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making the payment at the hotel. Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.

Guests need to obtain permission from the resort prior to using aerial drones due to safety and privacy concerns.

The following complimentary facility(s) will be provided per [stay/day] for guests booking honeymoon packages:
- A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket (for weddings not older than 6 months, proof required at the time of booking).
- A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket on silver and golden wedding anniversaries (proof required at the time of booking).
- A birthday cake and a bottle of wine on birthdays celebrated at the resort (proof required at the time of booking).
