Powdermills Country House Hotel

In 150 acres of gardens, park and woodland, PowderMills is a Grade II listed 18th-century country house hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, near the historical town of Battle. Built in the 18th century as a Gunpowder Owner’s Residence, the property has seen many changes in its history, notable when it was restored and converted into the privately owned, charming Hotel it is today. The outside is enhanced by ancient wisteria and there are remains in the grounds of artifacts used for the manufacture of the gunpowder reputed to be the finest in Europe.

Offering pet-friendly accommodation and full of character, all rooms are individually furnished and feature en suite bathrooms. The ground floor rooms have direct access to the garden. Powdermills features antiques, log fires, a conservatory and a library.

Pets are allowed on request (a supplement may apply).
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 10 years old (inclusive) stay for 35 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Children up to 2 years old (inclusive) stay for 15 € per person per night when sleeping in an available cot.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.
